WIA-Canada is sharing Dreamer Day 2026, one of Canada’s largest career exploration events for young women and gender-diverse students, run by Build a Dream in partnership with Invest Mississauga.

Four thousand students, one floor
Dreamer Day is a career exploration festival timed around International Day of the Girl. The 2026 edition expects more than four thousand students from over twenty-five Ontario school boards, which makes it one of the largest events of its kind in the country.
The floor is built around fifty-plus exhibitor booths with hands-on activities, career pathway information and industry insight, spanning skilled trades, STEAM, emergency response, entrepreneurship and leadership. A live main stage runs keynotes, panels and entertainment through the day.
WIA-Canada is not exhibiting this year, but if you work in aerospace and want to see four thousand students meet the industry for the first time, this is a day worth knowing about. Educators can register their classes through Build a Dream.
Four thousand students, and for a lot of them this is the first time anyone mentions aerospace.
