On behalf of the Board of Directors at Women in Aerospace Canada (WIA-Canada), we are excited to announce that applications for Board positions are now open. Board Directors play a key role in shaping WIA-Canada’s strategy, driving initiatives, and fostering partnerships to advance the organization’s mission of supporting women and underrepresented individuals in engineering, technology, aerospace, and beyond.
While WIA-Canada has deep roots in aerospace, we welcome candidates from diverse industries who bring fresh perspectives, strong networks, and a passion for driving fundraising and expanding our reach. Our Board is a working board of dedicated volunteers, and members are expected to actively contribute to monthly meetings and events.
Who Should Apply?
We are seeking highly connected, influential leaders who can help expand WIA-Canada’s presence, forge strategic partnerships, and lead impactful fundraising efforts.

✅ Plan and lead strategic initiatives, programs, and key events
✅ Foster high-impact partnerships with industry and corporate leaders
✅ Represent WIA-Canada at key conferences, networking events, and industry discussions
