About Women in Aerospace Canada:
WIAC is a non-profit organization committed to advancing women’s careers in the aerospace sector and promoting gender equality within the industry. We provide networking opportunities, mentorship programs, professional development workshops, and advocacy initiatives to support women at all stages of their aviation, aerospace, and space careers.
Volunteer Opportunities:
We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to assist us in running our various programs and events. Whether you have experience in event planning, marketing, communications, or you simply have a passion for aerospace and gender equality, there’s a place for you in our team! Volunteer roles may include:
- Event Coordinators: Help plan and organize networking events, workshops, and conferences.
- Communications Assistants: Support our social media presence, create content for newsletters, and assist with website updates.
- Mentorship Program Facilitators: Assist in matching mentors with mentees, and coordinate mentorship activities.
- Advocacy and Outreach Volunteers: Help raise awareness about gender equality issues in the aerospace industry through outreach campaigns and advocacy efforts.
