What are OAC Scholarships for Aerospace studies?

The Ontario Aerospace Council is pleased so be able to offer FIVE scholarships for the 2023-2024 Academic Year to students going into or currently enrolled in our aerospace studies program at a post-secondary institution (college or university) in Ontario. The value of each scholarship is $2,500.00 CAD.

 
     
     
 
     
   
     
     
 

Aerospace Studies Scholarships

(4 available – open to all)

  • High school students in their final year who are entering an aerospace studies program at an accredited Ontario college or university
  • Students currently enrolled in an aerospace studies program at an accredited Ontario college or university and continuing their studies in the 2023-2024 Academic Year
 
     
     
   
     
     
 

   Women In Aerospace Studies Scholarship

(1 available)

  • Young women in their final year of high school who are entering an aerospace studies program at an accredited Ontario college or university
  • Women currently enrolled in an aerospace studies program at an accredited Ontario college or university and continuing their studies in the 2023-2024 Academic Year
 
     
 
     
     
 
     
  Here’s how to submit an application:  
     
 
     
     
 
  • Download and complete the 2023 Application Form (DOWNLOAD HERE). Please note, without this form, your application will not be considered.
  • Essay (500 – 700 words) from applicant stating their interest in aerospace and career aspirations
  • For first year students, a Letter of Acceptance into their chosen academic institution
  • Two letters of reference from community members (teacher, professor, coach, employer, volunteer leader)
  • Academic Report issued by applicant’s current educational institution for the 2022-2023 Academic Year (most current)
  •  Academic achievement of 75% or greater in current year studies
  • Applications may be submitted electronically to Jackie Walker at the OAC using Jackie.walker@theOAC.ca .
