OAC LAUNCHES 2024 SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

The Ontario Aerospace Council is pleased so be able to offer FIVE scholarships for the 2024-2025 academic year!

Are you considering a career in Aerospace? Or are you currently enrolled in aerospace studies?

All students going into or currently enrolled in an aerospace studies program at a post-secondary institution (college or university) in Ontario may qualify. The value of each scholarship is $2,500.00 CAD.

Aerospace Studies Scholarships

(4 available – open to all)

  • High school students in their final year who are entering an aerospace studies program at an accredited Ontario college or university
  • Students currently enrolled in an aerospace studies program at an accredited Ontario college or university and continuing their studies in the 2024-2025 Academic Year
 
     
     
   
     
     
 

   Women In Aerospace Studies Scholarship

  • Young women in their final year of high school who are entering an aerospace studies program at an accredited Ontario college or university
  • Women currently enrolled in an aerospace studies program at an accredited Ontario college or university and continuing their studies in the 2024-2025 Academic Year
 
     
 
     
     
 
     
  Here’s how to submit an application:  
     
 
     
     
 
  • Provide an Essay (500 – 700 words) stating your interest in aerospace and your career aspirations.
  • For first year students, a Letter of Acceptance into their chosen academic institution.
  • Two letters of reference from community members (teacher, professor, coach, employer, volunteer leader).
  • Academic Report issued by applicant’s current educational institution for the 2023-2024 Academic Year (most current).
  • Academic achievement of 75% or greater in current year studies is required.
  • Compile all above elements and send your complete application electronically to Jackie Walker at Jackie.walker@theOAC.ca
