Purpose of Program: The purpose of the WIA Mentorship program is to prepare both Mentors and Mentees to have high value discussions with respect to the Mentees development needs and goals
After the Program Mentees will:
• Understand the purpose and objectives of mentorship
• Understand how to choose a mentor and the rules of engagement
• Have prepared a draft development plan, a network map, and an elevator pitch to review with their mentor
• Be fully prepared for the speed mentoring event
Mentorship Program Structure:
Mentee Session – 90 Mins
• Preparing for your speed mentoring session
• Overview and Key Rules of Engagement for Mentorship
• Understanding your development needs
• Completing your mentee profile
• Working on your development objectives
• Completing your network map
• Preparing your elevator pitch
• Preparing questions for your mentor
• Logistics of speed mentoring event

Speed Mentoring Event
Each Mentee has the opportunity to meet with 2 mentors for 20 mins each
Each Mentor meets with a total of 4-5 Mentees
Next Sessions start in February 2024 – register now to avoid disappointment of filled sessions.

*This program is currently open to mentees from southern Ontario, in conjunction with the funding received from the Ontario government. Another program will be launched in the coming weeks for attendees outside this region.
