Barbara Moser

For Barbara Moser, her academic pursuits, her career, her passions and interests have been an extension of those she developed in her childhood. Barbara excelled in maths and sciences which led her to obtain degrees in Physiology and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto. In addition to becoming a Professional Engineer, she obtained an M.B.A. from York University’s Schulich School of Business and holds a Six Sigma Black Belt.

As Barbara pursued her career, she developed a passion for operations management. Moreover, she also discovered her fascination with those mechanical things that fly (aka airplanes). She has held senior management positions in both large and small companies, primarily in the aerospace manufacturing sector including Boeing and Bombardier Aerospace. Her field of expertise is Quality/Business Systems and Operations Management. Currently, Barbara is Principal Consultant for her own consulting company. In addition, she obtained a Private Pilot’s License and currently serves as a Board member for Women In Aerospace – Canada. Barbara is an award winning, published co-author of 1 Piece of Advice, a book intended to inspire women and to keep them moving forward, through the hardships and obstacles that they face in their life’s journey.
